The Dream by #1

There was once a boy named Lucas. Lucas lived in a very small town in France. For Lucas, school just got out and he was headed to the town market to buy a turkey sandwich with he did every day.
On his way home, he stopped at his cousins house like he did every day to see what she was up to. Lucas’s cousin was named Heather. Heather saw Lucas walking down the sidewalk.
“Look at my birthday present, Lucas.” Heather said. Now, Heather was 7 years old and the most interesting person Lucas had ever known. Heathers birthday present was gardening supplies.“Who would want gardening supplies for a present. I mean, you like to garden, sure but getting supplies is just plain weird.” Lucas said. When Lucas looked at Heather, she had that look on her face that said she was hurt.”Thanks, Lucas.” she said but Lucas was already walking down the sidewalk.
That night at dinner, Lucas was eating peas when the room and everything in it started spinning. The next thing Lucas knew, (he was still sitting in his chair) he found himself on the top of what looked like Mount. Everest. When he looked down, he got woozy and everything went black.
The next thing he knew, he was being shook awake. When he opened his eyes a girl about his age was standing in front of him. When he looked down, he was dressed  in shining armor.”Is this a dream?” Lucas wondered aloud. “No. It’s not a dream. You were summed here  by my father the King.” the girl said. Then it all started to make sense  to Lucas. These people were from the book Lucas was reading at school.
The girls name was Cadence and he was in the kingdom of Jewels. Cadences father was King Azul. King Azul and Cadence asked Lucas to go on a quest to find the Blue Sapphire and bring it to the kingdom.
And yes he found it after a very, very long time. Then he brought it back to the kingdom. King Azul asked Lucas he would like to make a wish and Lucas said “I want to go home, Your Highness.”
“Of course Lucas. You wish to go home, I will send you home.” the king said.
The next morning, Lucas woke up in his room. “Was the whole thing a dream?’’ he asked himself.

That afternoon, Lucas passed by his cousins house and told her that getting gardening supplies for a birthday present was really cool. After that Lucas never said anything wrong again.
