Winners by # 25

It was a beautiful day the field was muddy and a good day to win. We were crushing every team on day one. Then day two where we had to win if we wanted to go to the championships. The kickoff of the first game in day two. They were good but a few passes could score, so we did that. Prospector 1 other team 0. I could tell they were mad because we were down to the last defender and the other team made a pass. The guy that received the pass made a chip shot but I made a reflex save. Before the other team could react the ref held up his flag. That was the signal for offsides.

So my center defender ,Cason, took the kick. It went down the field but it rolled out of bounds. We got the ball back. Then Griffin ,our left mid, got fouled so we got a free kick.

Cason took the kick and crossed it to Noah ,our center mid, and Noah kicked it in the goal.

Tweet,Tweet. It was halftime Our coach said,“We were doing well and that our defence could not let them through. We made a sub Anthony for Griffin. Well you know how people come right off the bench and score well that’s what he did. The right defender was sucked into the middle and Noah made a pass to Anthony and he shot it deep in the corner and he scored. It stayed like that for a while then we scored 2 more goals. The game was over. And we were all really happy.

The whole team went to lunch at this place called FuddRuckers. It was great I had a hamburger with a side of chili fries and a glass of lemonade.

After a while we went back to the field. We were really pumped up. We did our warm up and then started doing keep away. Then the game started. We had to win if we wanted First Place. We were playing the same team and they were doing a lot better. Was it just us not doing well or them doing a lot better? It was a long time. We had really good chances. But we could not work our magic. But then there was a penalty in the box. It was the greatest moment of my life not that our player got hurt but that we got a PK!!!!!!!! Noah took the kick like a bullet and a second later.

GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was awesome!!!! Then the ref said, “3 minutes boys.” And then Tweet,Tweet,Tweet. We did it. We just won First Place. Then we got our awards and went home. Overall it was the best tournament ever!!
